My name is Alison. I'm an airline pilot and an independent filmmaker with a passion for telling honest, human stories.

As a transgender woman, I've experienced both acceptance and discrimination. Those experiences have shown me the value of listening to people rather than speaking for them. That belief sits at the heart of Our Voice.

This documentary isn't about politics. It's about people. My aim is to create a film that allows transgender people from across Britain to share their lives, their challenges, their joys, and their hopes in their own words.

I'm funding much of this project myself and investing in the equipment, time, and travel needed to produce a film of a high professional standard. Public support will help me reach more contributors, spend the time each story deserves, and complete a documentary that gives a platform to voices that are too often unheard.

I hope Our Voice encourages understanding through conversation and reminds audiences that every person has a story worth listening to.
